Jan 7, 2008 - Busiest day for divorce
This is the busiest day for filing for divorce in England according to the rag newspaper the Sun owned by Rupert Murdock of Fox.
InsideDivorce.com conducted a survey of 100 English or rather UK law firms.
The survey performed found out that one in five of all marriages are near breaking point as reported by The Sun.
Family attorney Suzanne Kingston of the law firm Dawsons Solicitors, said: "If you're not spending time together then the issues between you are not so apparent because they are disguised by what you are doing on a day-to-day basis."
"But over Christmas people are spending longer periods of time together."
"And at New Year people often make resolutions and think about what they want for the future."
And that future may not involve the spouse....
People stay together for the holidays and then file papers for divorce and today is the big day.
What a sad commentary for our society - if the grass is greener , then it is probably over the septic tank...
