Here comes da Brrr-ide...
all dressed in white from being covered in snow...
As reported in the Daily Mirror news.
Groom Chris McQuade and bride Louise O'Mara braved temperatures of minus 12C to get married in an igloo on the edge of the Arctic Circle and then they celebrated their nuptials with a cold drink in a bar that was made of ice.
The couple from St Helens had their marriage ceremony witnessed by 17 of their family members as they had their wedding ceremony and tied the knot in Rovaniemi, Finland.
Chris who is 24 years of age and is a a plumber by trade stated "It was pitch black when we came out. We rode back to the hotel on a sleigh".
"We spent three days there. We went on snow mobiles, husky rides and had plenty of snowball fights."
"Everyone gets married somewhere hot, so we just wanted somewhere different."
Chris and Louise who is 22, plan to thaw out from the cold arctic ice wedding to have a honeymoon in the Maldives.
I would say this is something different - I will take a beach wedding in South Florida anyday...
