I am a professional photojournalist for a weekly national English and foreign language newspaper and satellite television network. I have years of experience and I love being a freelance wedding photographer. I have a Bachelor’s degree with a minor in English and extensive coursework in audio and video media, which included film stills photography.

Wedding photography is truly an art form that is not captured by just anyone that buys a camera. It takes an eye for photography to capture the moment as well as capturing the emotion of the day. Just having a camera does not insure sucess for getting pictures of your wedding day. Capturing the moment takes patience as well as experience and talent. You also need professional equipment to capture professional results with your digital images and pictures.

Getting pictures of the rings, flowers and decorations is just a small part of capturing the emotion of your special day. I love to get close during the ceremony and catch the smile and an occasional tear of the bride and sometimes a groom. The exchange of the rings and the bouquet toss and garter belt at the reception dinner is very important. The first dance as husband and wife and the dance with the groom and mom as well as the father daughter/bride dance.
